Dr. Håkan Sundell has been researching in non-blocking synchronization since 1999 and is the main developer of the software library NOBLE. He has a very strong experience from program development since 1983, and from professional program development since 1995. Håkan is well known in the program industry internationally with among others the products PlaySID and CCS64 with many millions of users. He has a background as educator and researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, developer and consultant in the Sigma corporation and Multimedia Innovative, and his own company Sundell Consulting. Håkan also holds a position as associate professor at the department of computer science and business administration, University College of Borås.

Philippas Tsigas

Prof. Dr. Philippas Tsigas is leading a successful research group in distributed systems at Chalmers University of Technology. He has a very strong academic background, has been researching in non-blocking synchronization since 1991, and is the initiator of the software library NOBLE. Philippas is well known in the academic world with over 50 publications in international journals and conferences, and has also experience from cooperation with the industry. He has besides his background as lecturer and researcher at Chalmers University of Technology also been at internationally reputed research institutes as Max-Planck-Institut among others.
